Terms of Service

Welcome to Squeeezy. By downloading, installing, or using the Squeeezy application for iPhone or Mac ("the App") from the App Store, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Squeeezy, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Squeeezy is a native application for iPhone (iOS) and Mac (macOS) that allows you to upload video content to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Those platforms work with the accounts you connect. The App connects to each platform's official API on your behalf using OAuth authentication you initiate in Settings. YouTube and LinkedIn uploads go directly from your device to those platforms. For Instagram and Facebook, the App may temporarily stage your video on our relay server (upload.squeeezy.me) so Meta can fetch it; staged files are deleted after publish. 3. Distribution

Squeeezy is distributed as follows:

  • App Store (iPhone) — iOS app (bundle ID me.squeeezy.app)
  • Mac App Store — macOS app (bundle ID me.squeeezy.app)

Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to App Store versions in addition to these Terms where required by Apple.

4. Your Accounts and Credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected social media accounts. Squeeezy stores authentication tokens securely in your device Keychain. You agree to:

  • Only connect social media accounts that you own or have explicit permission to manage
  • Not share your device or app access with unauthorised persons
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account security has been compromised

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Squeeezy only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to upload content that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation, including EU law
  • Infringes the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains hate speech, harassment, threats, or promotes violence
  • Is sexually explicit or involves minors in any inappropriate way
  • Constitutes spam, disinformation, or misleading commercial communications
  • Violates the terms of service of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, or any other connected platform

You are solely responsible for all content you upload using Squeeezy. We bear no responsibility for content uploaded through the App.

6. Third-Party Platform Terms

By using Squeeezy to connect and upload content, you are also subject to the terms of service and policies of each platform you choose to connect:

Squeeezy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta, LinkedIn, Google, Apple, or any of their parent or affiliated companies.

7. Intellectual Property

Squeeezy and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, decompile, or reverse engineer the App without prior written permission.

You retain all rights to the content you upload through the App. By using Squeeezy, you grant us no rights to your content whatsoever.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Squeeezy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
  • Uploads to third-party platforms will always succeed
  • Third-party platform APIs will remain available, stable, or unchanged

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including EU consumer protection law), we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to failed uploads, account actions taken by third-party platforms, or loss of content. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under applicable EU law.

10. Privacy and GDPR

Your use of Squeeezy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the Privacy Policy explains your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App. Your continued use of Squeeezy after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The latest version is always available at squeeezy.me/terms.html.

12. Termination

You may stop using Squeeezy at any time by uninstalling the App. Disconnecting your accounts in Settings removes stored tokens from your Keychain. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the member state in which the developer is established. If you are a consumer located in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory protective provisions of the law of your country of residence. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
